CanTeen

CanTeen believes that no young person should face cancer alone. That's why CanTeen provides a range of free programs, services and resources to help young people aged 12-24 deal with the emotional, physical and practical issues of cancer, so they can take back control of their lives.

Central Coast Kids in Need Inc

A small volunteer group who raise money to provide financial assistance to families of seriously ill Central Coast children who are require to go to Sydney/Newcastle hospitals for treatment. They pay their accommodation and travel expenses.

Also where possible they assist with specialised equipment for quality of life for these seriously ill children deemed possible in special circumstances by our board and committee members.

Providing financial assistance towards vocational or tertiary studies for students who have experienced serious illness.

Missing School

Across Australia, hundreds of children with serious medical conditions remain at home or in hospital, watching from the sidelines and missing school. MissingSchool is about helping bridge the educational and social needs of those kids and their siblings, who have special needs of their own, by working to keep them connected to their schools.
