John Hunter Hospital School Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land, the Awabakal People and reach out to those we have strong songlines with, the Worimi, Wonnarua and Biripi People.

We acknowledge and pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging, including Birabahn, whom flies high above as an eagle, caring for country and waterways – we will continue the work of millennia old conservation efforts.

We must always remember and persevere to walk together gently on this land as under the concrete and asphalt - the land Is, Was and Always will be Aboriginal land.
